Polymer Clay Sculpting Class
Students will learn the basics of polymer clay- how to blend the wonderful array of colors, condition and mold and bake the clay to make wearable art such as a neck pendant, earrings, bracelet, beads, or a small piece of art to display. No prior knowledge needed- just a sense of fun and adventure! All supplies provided.
About the instructor: Barbara Rabkin is a San Diego mixed media artist, who taught art in Boquete, Panama for many years: “I love color. I love to try new media and see how I can get comfortable working in new ways - acrylics, watercolors, oils, pencil, collages, mosaics, clay, textiles, even bread dough! Whatever the media, I approach the creative process with spontaneity, energy, and a sense of fun and adventure. That is what I hope my students will take away, along with their special project - the joy of exploring, playing and creating art. “
